September 1st GARDENER LIVE IN HEAD OF PROPAGATION OVERSEAS POST Candidates must have experience of managing propagation programs and growing under glass in a Mediterranean climate. They must be enthusiastic and well organized, with a good knowledge of pests, diseases and methods of biological control. The main function of the glasshouses is to propagate annuals, herbaceous and shrubs for use within the garden and to provide winter protection for container grown plants such as lemons.
The role involves supervising a team and good communication skills are required to be able to direct the team and work closely with the rest of the garden staff. The position will report directly to the Head Gardener.
