Gardener and Housekeeper/Carer companion.
Salary £75-85k.
The role comes with a self-contained two-bedroom cottage on the property, providing comfortable private accommodation. ( not suitable for dependents, small pet welcome)
Fluent English speakers. Right to work in UK. UK driving licences. No Smoking.
We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced couple who work well as a team and independently and can each contribute versatility across both roles. A warm and experienced couple with good references who are seeking a long-term role with appreciative employers.
THE GARDENER ROLE will suit an experienced gardener able to take over the running of beautifully maintained gardens on a private estate in Kent- working with the head gardener who is looking to slow down and retire. This role offers the chance to work hands-on in a varied and stunning garden environment covering all aspects of an English garden including trees, hedges, lawns, azalea garden, swimming pool and tennis court as well as terraces and kitchen garden. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success and beauty of the gardens.
THE RESIDENTIAL CARER AND COMPANION ROLE- is supporting a young adult male (24) with mild disabilities in his work life and leisure time. An energetic and fun personality with a relaxed yet professional approach is required. The successful candidate will be responsible for the young man’s daily diary management, taking him to appointments, organising his travel, daily cleaning as well as preparing and cooking meals -the 5 bedroom home is within the family estate and the Carer would occupy that home with the young man 3 nights during the working week and travel to London with him once a week. The role is primarily to provide companionship to the gentleman who many interests from music, film, history and reading to comedy, football and F1. The Carer needs to encourage a fulfilling lifestyle by taking the young man to the gym, cultural and social activities. The role will involve driving, light caretaking and practical support. A caring approach is essential with the ability to enhance his quality of life while maintaining his independence.
