The Estate Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and improvement of the house and grounds hands on with the upkeep of the grounds and general DIY duties. Actively involved in plans to enhance the property and be responsible for overseeing all projects we embark on.
Grounds
•
Ensure well-manicured lawns
•
Woodland & paddock management
•
Swimming Pool and Tennis Court Maintenance
•
Maintain water levels in and around the property
•
Garden Maintenance (for all areas not covered by the gardener)
•
Upkeep of all boundary fences and gates
•
Security of the property
•
Use and maintenance of garden machinery
•
Upkeep and organisation of machinery barn and hangar
•
General interior and exterior DIY and maintenance
•
Oversee and manage removal of all waste from the property
•
Running and maintenance of all cars
Personnel / contractors
•
Coordination gardening team (1.5 FTE)
•
Manage any part time maintenance staff
•
Manage contractors on site- plumbers electrician brick workers carpets dredging tree surgeons sewage – currently renovations after a flood little bit chasing if not on site persuade and keep loyalty -
•
Liaise with housekeeper over any requirements for the house

•
Care of the dogs when required
•
Occasional airport chauffeuring

Practical and involved
Strike up good repour with contractors solution finder
Admin of things – coordinate with employers order things – day off rota – sorting out new works quotes estimates
