Description
This is a part-time, live-out role (approximately 4 hours per day) based at Little Easton someone who can take real ownership of the day-to-day running of the house
The role would include:
- Full responsibility for all household laundry (washing, ironing, putting away, wardrobe organisation) – this is a key part of the role and sits entirely with the housekeeper
- Maintaining daily order in the kitchen and living spaces, ensuring everything is reset, tidy and in the right place
- Maintaining a consistently high standard and sense of order throughout the house
- Preparing rooms and bathrooms for guests/children who come and go
- Light dinner preparation to a high standard
- Keeping on top of household supplies (creating lists and placing orders such as Ocado/butcher)
- Handling simple household admin (e.g. booking cars for servicing, coordinating deliveries, general organisation)
- Comfortable around dogs and happy to walk them
There are cleaners, so this role is not focused on cleaning, but rather on ensuring the house runs smoothly, and is well organised.
- Naturally notices what needs doing and gets on with it without being asked
- Takes pride in doing things properly and improves over time without repeated instruction
- Is organised, practical and comfortable using a laptop for basic admin
- Is calm, discreet and not overly chatty or intrusive
This would suit someone experienced who has worked in a private house and is used to operating independently
